"The Inseparability of Faith and Holiness"

In the great consideration of all things, two of the most important concerns in the faithful one's life are an unshakable faith and in each passing day, their manner and outlook are clear and unspoken assertions of their faith. Those able to comprehend this clear and simplistic reveal of the nature of another’s soul and liveliness of spirit of a someone denotes them to be far ahead of their contemporaries and well on the way to being an astute student of human nature and the human condition. In the study of scripture one finds revealing detail of individuals, so much so, that a well studied student of scripture may in essence become an authority of a kind in regard to experiential theology.

True depth of faith, without true godliness, may cause some to appear mistakenly as an ignorance of sorts; do not be duped, that we coexist simultaneously with others whose outward presentation of faith seems absent of the truth of Holiness, is glaringly noticeable to the experienced in faith. Equally of great importance is the finding of a complete comprehension in living a truly faithful life which does not have as its foundation, living the wholeness of faith which is most highly dependent upon adherence to the righteousness of Yehoshua, it simply cannot be. Insurmountable personal conflict and little exercised control  of our free will and sinful natures shall always be present within those who seek one without the other; for in living in both, there remains a coherent balanced of existence; we clearly are elevated spiritually in our joy as part of the composition of Ben Elohim’s (son of G-d’s) perfection of harmony.

There are those who yet cultivate faith and yet still forget about holiness. That one may experience piety without the achieving of the fullness of holiness, allows one's self to linger unsure in misconception and confusion. To realize that we ourselves fall short of the fullness of piety, for we remain a imperfect creature in the perfect love of Elohim. Those who may have allowed holiness to slip through their thoughts might well be very high in orthodoxy, although they shall see very deep condemnation as well, should they continue their absent mindedness of the call to remain Holy as a regular practice. Faith and Holiness remain the efforts of the faithful in Elohim's balance and should also be in a life of true spirituality.

The yet remains, the heavenly declared combination of action in faith and a devoted piety which bonds together the unmistakable intricacies and qualities of both in all who hold strong to truth and understanding, in testifying first hand we offer proof before the opened eyes in recognition of absolute godlessness; to this end, all which is not of divine nature separates us from the Holy! In righteousness, condemnation is deferred; all are equally free of will to turn towards Ha’ Mashiach (our Messiah) Yehoshua Ben Elohim (Yehoshua/Jesus, son of G-d). There are others who yet strain to create and who live in a maintained holiness in life, yet have denied the trueness of faith; like the Pharisees, of whom Yehoshua said “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto me, but within are ye full of hypocrisy and iniquity.” {Matityahu/Matthew 23:28}

We must seek to always nourish faith in the ways of Yehoshua, for this in Him remains the foundational truth of life both now and eternal; we must hold a holiness for life, for this is the grand framing of all things. What use is the mere foundation of a building to a man in the day of a wrathful storm? He surely cannot shelter within it. One needs to build a house of strength in which to cover him which is well secured to the well laid foundation.  It is total truth that with a solid structure of faith built upon a sound foundation of holiness dwells our everlasting freedom and safety.

In our internal house of holiness, we require the secured bracing of the grand framing of spiritual life to be secured in confidence in its bond to holiness. If we are to one day have comfort during the days of doubtfulness and taxing trial in which to calm ourselves and to wholly seek His guidance in times of crisis. Just as mindfully, we must not seek a holy life without true and abundant faith, for in that house, we would mindlessly build a shelter which can provide no security or permanent safety, as it is built without solid foundation.

It is that we must always seek a true balance of structure conjointly in faith and holiness. We must grant license to a life in which the two main supports to be joined together and like the two supports of an archway, they shall see our devotion flourish and endure. Just as the pleasing and joyous warmth of the light of the sun, which are eternally filled with blessing together, faith and holiness are full also of great blessing. As the two pillars of the temple, they remain in strength inspiration of great glory as a beautiful visual representation of the great strength born to those who bear in faith.

These two principal ingredients are as two streams which crisply quench the thirsty and renew us in complete revitalization of His blessings which flow down from either side of the mountain of grace, and pool among the flora and fauna filled beauty of the surrounding lowlands. The waters of Rauch Ha' Chodesh (the Holy Spirit, the very breath of Elohim Himself, seek endlessly to satisfy our eternal yearning thirst for the joyful waters of love, hope and faith, which all converge within the pool of the waters of life, through which we are eternally sustained.

We are each joined by His grace as one, just as Elohei Avinu (G-d our Father) and in Ben Elohim our Redeemer are one, though of individual qualities of a sole purpose. It is in these same open fields of safety among the wild flowers in the clarity of the day’s light that we truly comprehend the inseparable bond of faith and holiness. Faith and Holiness are the guard rails of the sanctified path with gratitude; we strive for the true service of Elohei Tehillati (the G-d of my praise). Within the mysterious mist of holiness, we the faithful, who remain with our hands outstretched, not for gain but to always to offer help, we shall always find ourselves no matter the difficulty of occasional circumstances…. humbly waiting in gratitude to receive His favor and grace,

Pastor Mark
