Celebrating Grace in Devoted Faith:
in Abrahamic and Messianic Tradition

Coffee with Pastor Mark, today:
It has been asked and so must be answered. At no time has our ministry employed AI technology to compose our sermon's, weekly gospel readings, "Coffee with Pastor" columns or any other articles in our archives. I lead not because I am above the Frey, but rather because I have been called to do so. I counsel not because I am perfect, but rather because I am aware of my imperfection within Elohim's grace and in His strength I surmount my weakness and by doing so, lift others. I preach not because I am called qualified, but rather because in being called i have been qualified. I am neither pious nor elevated in holiness, for it through dedication, devotion, gratitude and praise that I am through Rauch Chodesh (Holy Spirit), brought to the light of Elohei Tzur Yishi (G-d, the Rock of my Salvation) to know His truths which I am called to Share in the Love!

"Behold the Love of Your Maker"

As Daud (David) fled his home of Israel to the land of the Philistine’s to avoid the wrath of King Saul, in Daud's haste his thinking was a bit amiss; because he certainly had understanding which would lead him to believe that Daud's anointing him by Shmuel (Samuel) was intended to be merely a symbolic gesture, an empty and meaningless act. While Daud had often found himself among the midst of extremely trying trials, though he never had stood alone in any of them; Elohei Ma’uzzi (The G-d of my Strength) had never left Daud to fend solely on his own. In one manner or another, there has always been Elohim Bashamayim (G-d in Heaven) to reach out the divine arm of protection for Israel’s favored son, Daud.
The challenges Daud would encounter had been in wide variety, in the matter of each of these trials, Elohim who had sent Daud to be among his challenges had also ordained Daud’s secure survival of each of these trials. Daud could not put his finger on any entry in his diary and say of it, "Here is evidence that the L-rd will or has forsaken me," as was the Will of Elohim, throughout Daud’s life there was to be an ordained stream of heavenly protection and safety through the course of Daud’s life. A blessed and Chosen man, indeed!
Daud’s understanding of the will of Elohim was of the right mind, however he thought too little of his importance in Hashem’s (G-d) will in his running from Saul. The mighty Daud held humanly fears and doubts, after all, was he not a mere man, a chosen one, but a mere man none-the-less. His heavenly protections, would lead Daud to mighty and great things, however, without the constant oversight and protections of Elohim Avinu (G-d our Father), Daud should had confidence and faith enough to hold to his belief and have argued from what Elohim had done for him that The Almighty would yet be his defender, always.
However, do we not in the likeness at times hold our own doubts of Elohim’s will for us and His being proactive on our own behalves? Are our doubts not in reality the shadows of our own faults and insecurities? We publically speak of our Creator’s overarching theme of trust and love, while we solemnly inside cast our eyes away from our own doubts which at times unsettle us to the core. Beyond the fragility of human reasoning, lay all the hopes, promises and unequalled love of Elohei Kedem (The Eternal G-d)…. have we truly ever been given cause to doubt the goodness of Elohim Bashamayim (G-d in heaven)?
When we ask ourselves, “How could a Loving Creator permit such misery among men?” Are we not in actuality removing the true onus of the ills of man from man himself in the question of a loving G-d who has provided us with great grace and blessing and the promises of eternal life through belief in Him and redemption through Ben Elohim (the Son of G-d)?
Ask yourself in all honesty, has He ever once failed to truly justify our trust and faith in Him? Elohim HaAv (G-d the Father) has never left us alone and without hope at any time. True we have had sleepless and dark; troubling nights, though the beacon of Elohim’s love has always beckoned the uneasy from the darkness into the comforts of His light which shall always reach us amid the deep darkness of the void of despair.
We have stood firm in faith among our trials. We have overcome the battle weariness through the comforts of Elohim; from above He has been both our sword and our shield.
We have been victorious over many battles, some have been a draw; though each incursion only serves to strengthen us and bring us closer in intimate relation with Elohim Chayim (The Living G-d). each survival, each victory steels us in faith and strengths our character in Him that we may lead others to victorious ascension above the trials we forged through ourselves, strengthening within us a great ability of empathy and love to guide others to their victories.
We now have the fortitude and wisdom of our vast past experiences to know, to understand, to teach. He who has been with us in six troubles will not forsake us in the seventh. We come to discover our doubts are of ourselves and not in Elohim. We move beyond the frightened timid person of our past and onto a greater version of ourselves we never thought possible, all in the maintaining of faith and trust in Elohim and in ourselves. What we have known of our faithful Master has secured for us confidence that He will keep always. Release yourself therefore from the shadows of doubt cast within your own mind and be set free into the love and blessings of Elohei haruchot l’chol-basar (The G-d of the spirits of all flesh). Be steeled in your faith and release yourself from contrary insecurities.

Be He ever so present before us, He is found where ever we are; allow the love to shine through the shadows of doubt and behold the love of your Maker,

Pastor Mark
