REGAILING PROPHESIES OF HIS ARRIVAL

Ha 'Mashiach (our Messiah), Y’shua Ben Yusef {Yehoshua (Jesus)… son of Joseph), had been clearly foretold throughout the Mosaic Convent {Old Testament}. The descendants of all the 12 Tribes who refuse to admit this one clear and obvious fact, have not truly embraced the whole of their covenant with HaShem (G-d).  Judah, the tribe of both David and Y'shua; "... will be a King who will descend from the tribe of Judah." Bereishit/Genesis 49:10; “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people.”

**The town of Shiloh is most famous for being the first seat of government of the invading Israelite forces under Joshua. At Shiloh the tent of meeting was set up {Joshua 18:1}, the land was divided {18:10}, and judges were seated, up to Eli and Samuel {Book of Shmuel I/1 Samuel 1:9}. The prophet Ahijah was called the Shilonite {Book of Malachim I /1 Kings 11:29}, which may have meant that he physically hailed from the town of Shiloh, like the Shilonites mentioned in Book of Divrei HaYamim I/1 Chronicles 9:5 and Book of Nehemiah/Nehemiah 11:5; though it may also have meant that Ahijah was identified as an old-school pre-monarchy judge.

Within The Book of Bereishit/Genesis 12:3; Bible Prophecy about the Messiah "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families”

The Book of Bereishit/Genesis 22:17-18… Biblical Prophecy foretelling of our Messiah: Book of Bereishit/Genesis 22:17

– “That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 - And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.” The Seed of David, Mashiach… Messiah will be the offspring of David, and King of the whole world.

Book of Tehillim/Psalm 132:11 “The LORD has sworn in truth to David; he will not turn from it: I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body.

Book of Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 23:5-6; "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; a King shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 6 In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely; now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

Book of Trei Assar (Twelve Prophets)/Micha 5:2 “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” This also verifies that our Messiah would be from everlasting, from eternity past. Bethlehem was the birthplace of King David, most Hebrew kings were born in Jerusalem. The first century Jews all understood the reference to be the town of Bethlehem. Ruler in Micha 5:2 is not the usual word for king "melech" but the word "mashal" which speaks of a civil or economic ruler like a powerful merchant, prince or king. The New Testament translates the word as a Shepherd Ruler.  It is interesting that the Magi in Matthew 2 sought the One who was "born king of the Jews" rather than appointed.  Bethlehem was located about 5 miles from Jerusalem.

The context of the Book of Yeshayahu/Isaiah 7:14 identifies the Son of Miriam as Ha 'Mashiach. As Isaiah was speaking with King Ahaz about signs within his own family, the house of David, the Lord reveals to him a greater sign that is to occur in David’s family, the ‘virgin’ birth of the greater Son of David in the future, for all mankind to behold. Our "Lord" is mentioned here as "Adonai", the Sovereign Master… the proper name of our HaShem used solely in prayer. The Lord offered the sign. "Imanu El" in Hebrew  means "with us is our G-d". A "sign" was a miracle with special significance to point to something. The "virgin" mentioned here is not named, but the sign was to happen within David’s family and even within Ahaz’s own household. The New Testament reveals Miriam as the "virgin" and Y’shua as the "Son".

Ha 'Mashiach is the Chief Cornerstone which the Builders Rejected.” Book of Tehillim/Psalm 118:22-23; “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD'S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

Book of Yeshayahu/Isaiah 28:16; “Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily.”

Ha 'Mashiach shall Perform Divine Miracles… Yeshayahu /Isaiah 35:5-6; “Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. “

Book of Yeshayahu/Isaiah 53:4-11: “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.”

Mashiach will Arrive Twice… first as Savior and Redeemer, Then as King. Book of Yeshayahu/Isaiah 61:1-2; "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; he has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God.”

Ha 'Mashiach will be a Priest after the Order of Melchizedek. Book of Tehillim/Psalm 110:4 “The LORD has sworn and will not relent, "You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek."

Book of Eevrim/Hebrews 5:5-6 “So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: "You are My Son, today I have begotten You.”

Book of Eevrim/Hebrews 7:17; "You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek"

Book ofYeshayahu/Isaiah 9:1; “Nevertheless the dimness [shall] not [be] such as [was] in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict [her by] the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. 2 - The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.”

Biblical Prophecy about Ha 'Mashiach… Book of Yeshayahu /Isaiah 61:1; “The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound; 2 - To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Mashiach will be a prophet like Moses, He will be Jewish, He must be Obeyed. D’varim/Deuteronomy 18:15-19; "The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear... `I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. `And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.”

Book of Yeshayahu/Isaiah 42:1; "Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, my Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

Book of Yeshayahu/Isaiah 49:6; Indeed He says, `It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.'"

Ha 'Mashiach will be very Meek and Humble... Yeshayahu/Isaiah 42:2-3 ;“He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench; he will bring forth justice for truth. “

Yeshayahu/Isaiah 53:7; “Will Enter Jerusalem on a Donkey: The Messiah Will Enter the City of Jerusalem on a Lowly Donkey."

Book of Trei Assar/Zechariah 9:9 }"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; he is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

The Messiah Will Suddenly Come to His Temple. Trei Assar (Twelve Prophets)/Malachi 3:1; "Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," says the LORD of hosts."

Moving Forward.... He Has Come.

Book of Yochannan/John 6:14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, "This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world."

Book of Matti/Matthew 21:2-3; “saying to them, Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, `The Lord has need of them,' and immediately he will send them."

Book of Matti/Matthew 21:12-13; "Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He said to them, "It is written, `MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER'; but you are making it a ROBBERS' DEN."

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel." Book of Galati''im/Galatians 4:4

- “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,” Mashiach Born in Bethlehem;

Book of Lukos/{Luke 2:4-6}; “Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered.” Mashiach would be born in Bethlehem.  Bethlehem was an insignificant city, so much so that there have been almost no mentions of ancient Bethlehem in archaeology.  Bethlehem (BIET LECHEM) in Hebrew means "House of Bread" illustrating that via his place of birth it is announced Y’shua is the bread of life.

Book of Yochannan/John 11:47; “Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, What shall we do? For this Man works many signs.”  Luke 7:21; “And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight.”

Book of Matti/Matthew 21:42-43; “Jesus said to them, Have you never read in the Scriptures: `The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes'? Therefore, I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.”

Y’shua was Born of Miriam: Luke 1:34-35; “Then Mary said to the angel, How can this be, since I do not know a man? And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. “ The Hebrew scholars who translated the Septuagint (Hebrew into Greek translation in 2nd cent B.C.) used the Greek word for "virgin" and not the word for young maiden/lady which is found in the Torah... Hebrew; "Almah"; Greek; "Parthenos".

Ha 'Mashiach is Seated at the Right hand of Elohim:  Book of Qorinti'im' I/1 Corinthians 15:25-27; "For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death."

Our Lord is literally YHWY (Yahweh), Adonai (Master). Y’shua’s argument to the Pharisees was getting them to admit that Psalms 110 was Messianic.  “The LORD said to my Lord is a clear reference to the Trinity.”

To sit at HaShem's (G-d’s) right hand was to be given the place of power, blessing, honor, preeminence and dominion. It is literally the highest place of honor and to share in that throne. This portion of Scripture promises a future far greater than the day of wrath. When HaShem reveals Himself to the world again in the person of Y'shua Ben Elohim (Jesus, son of G-d), which is the essence of the word revelation; He will subdue all of the Messiah’s enemies under His feet. The "footstool" is mentioned in Scripture as a part of the throne of the king in symbolizing HaShem's throne. In an ancient Assyrian relief, the Assyrian king places his foot upon the neck of his enemy to symbolize complete subjugation and possession of the captured king. Here is an inference to enemies under an Egyptian footstool: It is interesting that Stephen, in dying, saw Y’shua "standing on the right hand of God". The conclusion to be drawn from this Psalm must have been felt by the Pharisees themselves, that Mashiach, because the Son of David and Lord at the same time, was of human and at the same time of superhuman nature.

Mashiach will be the Savior of the Whole World, Jews and Gentiles alike... Book of Yeshayahu/Isaiah; 11:10; "And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, who shall stand as a banner to the people; for the Gentiles shall seek Him, and His resting place shall be glorious."

Book of Matti/Matthew 15:21 “Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon.”

Let us sooth our restless spirits and find great solace in prophesies which have come to pass for they are the promise to prophesies yet unfulfilled. Let us remain faithful to our neighbor as we are to Y'shua, let us do so in  His name in love and compassion and in the great anticipation of joy in His Kingdom to come.
