“The Archon Influenced Proclaims the Day of the Demiurge's Rest “

Constantine the Great (Flavius Claudius Constantinus, ca. 280–337 CE), Emperor of the earthly realm in the first half of the 4th century, proclaimed the outward form of monotheism for the Roman Empire, turning from the multiplicity of lesser gods and archons to a singular facade of divine rule. He declared the Christ Movement as the religion of the empire; all the while veiling the imperial power of Empire, the official creed of the state.

With this act, Constantine formally forces the enshrinement of the first day, Sunday, as the mandated day of repose under Roman law, calling it the "venerable day of the Sun."As the scriptures of the lower realm record: "And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Saul preached unto them..." (Acts 20:7 in the Book of Mas'sey). The first day dawns as the week begins anew, after the shadow-Sabbath of Saturn's day has passed.

However, even before this imperial decree, many among the emerging Christ Movement assemblies had already gathered on this day, swayed by teachings which exalted the resurrection of Yehoshua on the Sunday; a symbol of escape from the material cycle, rather than the seventh-day rest ordained by HaShem Himself. Constantine would merely inscribe into civil edict what had become a widespread custom among those who followed the outer form of the faith. As another passage attests: "Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store..." (1 Corinthians 16/ the Book of Qorinti'im).

Thusly, the shift was already underway in the psyche of the faithful, before the emperor's hand sealed it. In 313 CE, Constantine encountered Licinius, the ruler of the eastern provinces, and together they issued the Edict of Milan, granting license to those of the Christ Movement and others to follow whichever religion each soul was in tune with and yet this tolerance masked the deeper blending of powers. His new capital, Constantinople (once Byzantium, now called Istanbul), was consecrated in 330 CE as the New Rome, soon overshadowing the old, while the western empire decayed until its fall in 476 CE.

The Holy Declared Sabbath of the seventh day was given by the Most High through the Mosaic revelation, not merely for the carnal seed of Israel, but as well as for all who seek obedience to the divine spark beyond the archons. The Decalogue's command concerning the Sabbath has never been annulled or rendered void by the appearance, ministry, and Instruction of Yehoshua. The Gnostic error lies in supposing that the material world's rhythms were thereby transcended without discernment. Many who declare themselves Christians have instead clung to the unsanctioned Sabbath, honoring the resurrection as a liberation from the hebdomad of fate, the sevenfold prison of the Demiurge.

Through the Gnostic insight delivered by Yehoshua, the Sabbath itself can symbolize the very world of matter or the ruler who binds souls to it; the hebdomad of Yaldabaoth, while true rest lies in gnosis (hidden knowledge), in awakening beyond days and nights, the eternal light of the Creator which exists within us, understands the shadows of the weekly cycles.

Thus, Constantine, befallen to the influence of archon and ego, codified not a divine change, but rather a compromise with the lower powers, elevating the day of the visible sun over the hidden rest commanded from on high, leading many astray from the pure spark's obedience to the illusion of a new "Lord's Day" among the realm of forms. The faithful seeker discerns: the true Sabbath is not of this world, but of the Pleroma, untouched by imperial decree or the Demiurge's calendar.

The Hebdomad: The Sevenfold Veil of the Demiurge In the radiant cosmology of Gnostic insight, the Hebdomad (from the Greek ἑβδομάς, “group of seven”) stands as the very architecture of the lower cosmos—a seven-layered prison forged by the blind and arrogant Demiurge, Yaldabaoth (also called Saklas or Samael). This is no mere astronomical curiosity; it is the symbolic heart of the material illusion, the hebdomad of fate (heimarmene), time, and bondage that keeps the divine spark trapped within the cycles of generation and decay.

The Seven Archons and Their Planetary Thrones Yaldabaoth, in his arrogance, declares, “I am God, and there is no other beside me,” and from his own shadow-power he begets six subordinate authorities. Together with himself they form the Hebdomad—the seven rulers of the seven planetary spheres. Each archon governs one layer of the cosmic onion, from the Moon (lowest, sublunary realm) upward to Saturn (the outermost of the visible heavens). Their names and monstrous forms are preserved in the Apocryphon of John:

Athoth (the sheep-faced) — Moon

Eloaios (the donkey-faced) — Mercury

Astaphaios (the hyena-faced) — Venus

Yao (the seven-headed serpent) — Sun

Sabaoth (the dragon-faced; later the “repentant” archon who is elevated) — Mars

Adonin (the monkey-faced) — Jupiter

Sabbataios (flaming fire) — Saturn, ruled by Yaldabaoth himself

These are not benevolent guardians of a loving and nourishing Creator, but rather jailers which relegate the soul to the falsehoods of deception, each demanding passwords, seals, or invocations of gnosis before a soul may pass their sphere after death. Without that saving knowledge, the spark returns again into reincarnation, memory gone, beneath the yoke of the Demiurge and influence of archons in their forgotten remembrance. This cycle repeats time and time again until the faithful have fully awakened in truth and are aware, in life and more importantly in death, reawaken to the truth of our divinity and in that truth hold the wisdom to forego the confusion of the false “Light” of the Demiurge and shenanigans of the archons which seeks to distract us from our return to The Source of all existence and every realm. The archon tactics are well known… as the soul is called to the return, the upper levels leading to “Home” are filled with false imitations of those loved ones who have passed before us and who walk out from the false light, hands out stretched, claiming to lead us Home…. It’s a trap, it’s the reincarnation trap of the Demiurge which seeks to thwart the Faithfull’s well earned return Home.
