“Amid the Harbor of His Counsel”

We the faithful, look toward the shepherd boy Dowd (David), who would one day be King of all Israel. Dowd came to feel ill at ease and began yearning for divine inspiration and guidance. The young Dowd had matured to a level of great self-discovery and in doing so, had come to comprehend the absurdity and imprudence of his own heart. Through this understanding, Dowd came to understand the error of his ways and had sought deep while in reflection and prayer, to do what he must to adhere to a wiser and path of faith. Dowd had come to realize he needed the counsel of one who he has so heavily rallied upon and so, he sought the wisdom and guidance of Elohei Ma’uzzi (The G-d of my strength).

Dowd had grown to understand with a broader comprehension that in his foolishness, had brought with it the opportunity of awareness to rededicate himself as a man of faith and to put childish things aside. Dowd instinctively knew and understood his foolishness had caused a great leap forward on the path of wisdom, just as we have or shall discover in our own lives and we come to understand when it leads us to rely on the wisdom of the Elohim (G-d), we are surely upon the path of righteousness.

As a blind man leans on his friend's arm and reaches the safety and comfort of his own home, likewise, we should give ourselves over implicitly to the steady and rightful guidance of Elohei Kedem (the Eternal G-d); beyond doubt and in steeled faith while resting easy in the comfort that even though we may not see, reliable prudence instinctively brings us to the safe harbor of, and the divine wisdom of Elohei Marom (the G-d of Heights). Dowd remained confident that Elohim would illuminate the path of surety and goodness just as He had always provided. We all may safely rely on the harbor of wisdom and of guidance of Eloheynu (our G-d).

We must make certain always, Elohim shall be the constant source of guidance and that His counsel shall never cease to provide to bear fruit in our deceptions. In moments of uncertainty and doubt, the steady and precious guidance of Elohim shall always prove out His love for us, He will guide us; He remains at the ready to guide us always through to the path of faithfulness and almost always in the most direct way of least resistance. Through His written Word, we are guaranteed the protections of all His promises to the faithful so long as we hold our hearts to the path of steeled faith.

This is our assurance, that Elohei Avotenu’s (The G-d of our father’s) Word is His bond and we are privy to avail ourselves of His illuminating and holy guidance. For what is the sailor without his sexton, and what is the Believer without The Holy Scriptures? This is the unerring chart, the map in which every shoal is described, and all the channels divided from the quicksand of destruction which shall always bring us to the harbor of salvation mapped and marked by Him who knows the way.

I then offer gratitude dear faithful that you would take the time and kindness to read this message today and pray devoutly that this message shall direct you to He who is the source of all comfort and wisdom. May Elohim’s (G-d's) countenance be the canopy beneath which His promised blessings are continued to be delivered to you! Trust in Elohim Avinu (G-d our Father) always that we may trust in Yehoshua to guide us now and even on to eternity! Returning to our Sheppard King, after this great and mighty blessing of Elohim’s guidance through life, the Dowd anticipates a divine reception; “Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.” – {Psalm 73:24}

All the while as we are wandering from His path, discovering our follies and straying.... still He will bring us safe at last to the triumph of heaven in eternal glory! This is our portion; live on it today and each day here after, and if conundrums should encompass us leading us astray, we must go into the direction and cause of strength within His Word, seek directly it's Source, for the power of truth and secreted mysteries of life are in our steady diet of His great confidence. When short of one's own direction, we turn to Him in faith to set the course upon calmer seas of the red skied nights, succumb to the feel of the grace of Eloheynu (our G-d) directing us upon our journey forward into the fullness of grace as we exude our attitude of gratitude.
